In order to accomplish its objectives, The Cultural Foundation
"Negru Voda", uses the following means:
- Theses and scientific works, different artistic works, other
forms of cultural acts;
- Debates, conferences, round tables, tours, exhibitions, book
publications, album launches, monuments and other means of commemoration,
cultural and artistic events, festivals, book fairs, exhibitions,
museums, memorial houses.,
- Books, periodicals, calendars, illustrated collections, local
cultural and scientific publications editing, re-editing and distribution,
in order to evaluate the spiritual values of Fagaras.
- It awards annual prizes to the most representative works, from
various domains, for valuable initiatives and actions which promote
the ideas and the principles of the Foundation.
- It supports artistic groups, representative traditional creators
and manufacturers from the Fagaras Country.
- It stimulates the pupils' and students' interest for education
and creation by awarding prizes, distinctions, diplomas and scholarships.
- Organization of cultural events and traditional art, photo,
house keeping industry, agricultural and industrial products exhibitions,
which are significant for the skills and creative spirit of the
inhabitants of the Fagaras Country; annual organization of The
Fagaras Culture, Tradition and Art Festival.
- Realization of an information center upon the research results,
studies carried by national and international specialists, including
literary and historic documents, alongside photos and films related
to the Fagaras Country culture and civilization.
- Organizing a club-bookshop, where the Foundation's and Romanian
cultural societies (national and from abroad) shall be distributed
and debated.
- Initiating and supporting actions related to building commemorative
panels and monuments and organizing memorial houses in order to
commemorate marking events and personalities who supported greatly
the Fagaras Country's social-historic development; also, we have
made several steps in giving these personalities' names to some
streets, quarters and local cultural and educational institutions.
- It acknowledges the activities and works of the Romanian personalities
who live and work abroad.
- Supporting The Fagaras Country Museum in order to enrich its
thematic collections regarding the activity of people from Fagaras
living abroad and aspects related to their adoption countries,
as a starting point for the realization of an Emigration Museum.
- It supports the museums, the memorial houses, the libraries
and other cultural places from the towns and villages of the Fagaras
Country..
- The realization of The Fagaras Anticommunist Resistance Museum
and The Fagaras Emigration Museum.
- Editing the Foundation's newspaper in which the entire activity
will be presented and which will serve to the projects' accomplishment.
- The realization of materials for the Foundation's promotion,
specific signs, diplomas, medals, stamps.
- The partnership - with the purpose of accomplishing the Foundation's
objectives - with national and international publicity institutions,
with the Ministry of Education and Culture, libraries and national
and international cultural institutions.
- It supports of production and commercial activities (traditional
manufacturing, creation workshops, printing, painting, assistance
and instruction centers, etc.), all of these providing self-financing
for the Foundation.
- Qualification, re-qualification and improvement classes for
the un-occupied population in order to make it more adaptable
to the changing demands on the market; formation and improvement
of Small and Medium Companies and commercial societies managers.

It establishes co-operation relationships with
governmental and non-governmental foundations, organizations
and institutions, with personalities of the cultural and economic
life in order to support the accomplishment of the Foundation's
purposes; granting scholarships within the framework of mutual
programs; promoting cultural and informational exchanges, in
order to best promote the Fgararas Country on national and international
level.
